© 2007 Grassy Key Resort Group Casa Del Sol Beach Resort Attractions Our warm tropical climate, green lagoons, deep blue seas, and perpetual sunny skies, are conducive to year round fishing, diving, snorkeling, swimming, and boating. Grassy Key is just one of the Florida Keys Island chain connected by 43 bridges. We parallel North America’s only living contiguous coral barrier reef, and the waters of the entire island chain have been designated as the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. We offer world class fishing, albeit off-shore in the sapphire waters, on the reef in the aqua waters, or back country in the crystal clear waters surrounded by olive –green mangroves. Anglers often catch Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, Yellow Tail, Grouper, and Trout to just name a few of the species. Flats fishing bring anglers, Permit, Bonefish, Snook and Barracuda. Whether you want to fish just for the fun of it, fish for your evening’s meal, or fish in a tournament, fabulous fishing abounds all year through. Our beautiful living coral barrier reef provides for some of the most spectacular diving and snorkeling in the world. The reef teems with tropical fish, and other areas offer coral encrusted ship wrecks, and natural coral formations. Visitors and locals alike can dive or snorkel on their own or rely on the expertise through a chartered service of a dive master. For those who choose to venture out on the waters, every type of boating is available to you. Kayak, sail, motor yacht or zip along the waters in just about any type of watercraft imaginable; several boat rental outfitters are available to assist you with your selection.
